HOWDY DOO. The name's Victoria but feel free to call me whatever you'd like. The most common ones are Vicky and Ryuu, but I'll answer to pretty much anything. I'm 17 years old, female (if that wasn't obvious enough already), and I live in the northeast United States. Yet another obvious thing is that I'm incredibly dorky and nerdy, most apparently because of my love for anime, manga, video games, and books. Even looking deeper, I'm a nerd through and through. While others daydream about making it on the big screen or going platinum, I'd rather program the world's first highly marketable virtual reality gaming system, genetically engineer a llama-cactus hybrid, or just sit back, relax, and memorize pi to a thousand places. ...well, to be honest, those things do sound really interesting, but I'm more of an artsy-nerd type. Creativing writing is my passion and art (from doodling to pixelling to artisan crafts) is quickly becoming another love of mine. I also fit the stereotypical persona of a geek, too: I'm one of the most shy, awkward, unconfident people you will ever meet - in real life, at least. It's a completely different story online. This isn't something unique to me, I'm guessing. It's much easier to deal with people through a screen rather than face to face, isn't it? My other interests vary a great deal and span far and wide, so I won't list them here. A general rule of thumb to follow, though, is if you can think of it, I probably have at least a casual interest or curiosity in the subject. So feel free to talk to me about anything and everything! Just be wary of how crazy-hyper-inarticulate-rambling I can be. It's a miracle that this little bio is the least bit coherent. Some other things about me that pretty much sum me up are that I'm really into my various fandoms, I'm an idealist, a hopeless romantic, an animal lover, and incredibly But seriously. If you want to get to know me - really get to know me - then you're just going to have to talk to me. Comment on my journal, contact me on one of the other sites listed to the right, or send an email my way. Reading a few paragraphs of text just isn't going to do it. I'm not what you'd call a wonderfully interesting person (and I can't guarantee I'm worth the time it would take to get to know me), but humans are pretty complex creatures. Kind of stupid, but complex in their idiocy. So take the words above with a grain of salt and keep in mind these are only shallow facets of who I am. You're going to have to dig deeper if you really want to know. ...and now that I've fully made myself out to be a pretentious douche, let me rewind and give it to you straight, in summary: My name is Victoria, and I'm a seventeen year old girl in the United States. I'm socially awkward, suffer from anxiety disorders, and compensate for that online. My interests vary far and wide with an emphasis on writing, art, the internet, and asian cultures. I'm idealistic, naive, and optimistic, but I'm cynical, world-weary, cold, and pessimistic, too. While I'm an essentially good person, my outer edges are tinted many shades of gray but I don't care to elaborate. Finally, and most importantly, I can try to paint you a picture of who I am, but I'm not even sure myself. I don't think I ever will be - and I'm fine with that. This journey is what I'm here for.
